Some Explosive Twitter Traffic Tips – Explode Your Twitter Following Overnight! All across the internet. It is remarkable how far we have come on the world of online communication. The idea of twitter ten years ago was unheard of. Today it is as common as television.

Even news travels with twitter. Countries tried to keep their people from contacting the outside world by telephone but they got through with twitter. So this is a great addition to freedom some people would argue. And there are many people who thank twitter for building their business. And then others only use twitter to let friends know what they had for lunch today.

Some want to know the way to increase their following. Some have over thirty thousand people following their twitter posts or as they are known, tweets. Whether you think this makes sense or not, twitter moves on. It is the fastest growing social media site on the internet.

But what have we become as a society when people spend more time sitting at their computer screen or holding their hand held internet device sending messages to people across the internet while someone within talking distance is ignored. You can go to your local university and see students walking and tweeting on their hand held devices. No one seems to talk to each other anymore.

You do not see door to door salesmen anymore, you see them on the internet sending emails and tweets. But that is all right. Sales is sales and you can use twitter too. You need to open up an account. Then offer to follow others before finding others to follow you.

You first follow and then ask for followers. Go in with a little humility and it will pay off as you learn how to post. Be interesting with our posts or tweets.

And mix up your tweets. You want to be social but you also want to promote your business. Yes there are many ways to increase your following overnight. But if you are not interesting then you will lose your following just as fast overnight.

Do not promote with each tweet. You will lose your following fast if you do this. And show interest in others. That is right be interesting and be interested. You only have a limited number of characters with each post. So be consist with your 140 characters.

But if you want to promote your business then you have to keep that at your core reason for being on twitter. When you make a great post ask your followers to share it with their followers. This will build your following because you can then ask their list to start following you. This is he world of twitter.

Twitter Is Your Source For Qualified Leads

Twitter is being used by people all over the world. In fact, the application has now been around for some time and each day new uses are found for this blog like tool. As a marketer, I’ve been wondering whether or not how it might be used to help my business.

As someone who resisted Twitter for quite some time, I finally dove in and learned what all of the excitement was about. Similar to other social networking sites like Flickr and Facebook and others, Twitter provides a forum for real time communication. It connects us all and brings us closer to others with similar interests.

What if you could find influential people in your industry and directly listen to them, learn from them, and have insight into what they’re focused on? Enter Twitter and the ability to search, find, and follow those in your industry. You may be surprised by all the people out there in your niche sharing ideas, news, and information. By following these people you can stay on top of industry trends and learn a great deal.

In addition to following people on Twitter and the industry information they’re sharing, you can also find others who bring value to your day. Whether its connecting with someone who is funny or provides you with daily thought, your list of people to follow is completely in your control. This gives you a great deal of flexibility and also allows you to filter information that you want to receive.

Just like you follow others, others can determine that they want to follow you on Twitter. You might be asking what the purpose or point of building a list of followers may be. This depends on what you are trying to accomplish with Twitter. If your goal is to use it simply in a casual way, then you may be looking to build a list of followers among your friends. If you are interested in Twitter for business purposes, you should consider your list of followers just like you would a house list that you market to on a regular basis.

After building a list that is comprised of followers that value what you have to say and offer by way of free information, consider how you can encourage them to move through your purchase process. One tip is to offer free information that they can register for or download from your site. Be sure to use an auto responder to help move them through to the purchase of a product or service you or your company has to offer. This is one of many ways to benefit from Twitter.

Twitter can provide an ideal channel for building a list of prospective followers and adding value. Start with an understanding of your audience and provide valuable information that can help them succeed. Once you’ve build up a trust level, offer products or services that can help them solve a problem. This will move your business forward and help your followers as well.

Common Forms Of Social Media

Social networks –
Virtual communities that allow people to build personal web pages and then connect with others to share content and communication. Some of these venues appeal to broad groups, (i.e. Facebook, MySpace), whereas others are built around particular niches and demographics (i.e. LinkedIn).

Forums –
Areas for online discussion, in which multiple users can create topics of interest and then comment on these topics. Forums came about before the term “social media” and are a powerful and popular element of online communities.

Blogs
Perhaps the best known form of social media, blogs (short for web logs) are websites that typically feature posts, by an individual or group, which readers can comment upon. Blogs may vary in nature but tend to be popular, as they often provide an unvarnished, insider perspective on a particular topic.

Microblogging
social networking combined with bite-sized blogging, where small amounts of content (‘updates’) are distributed online and through the mobile phone network. Twitter is the clear leader in this field.

Content communities
Sites that allow users to post and share particular kinds of content. Such communities exist around anything from videos and photos to stories and links. Some of these sites include voting functions that allow the community to determine the relevance of content. The most popular content communities tend to form around photos ( Flickr), bookmarked links
( del.icio.us) and videos ( YouTube).

Wikis
Wikis are community-generated documents and databases. Approved users can create content and augment the content of others in the interest of creating better resources. The best-known wiki is Wikipedia.com, the online encyclopedia which has over 2 million articles in the English edition alone.

Podcasts
Audio and video files that are available by subscription, through services like Apple iTunes.

Virtual Worlds
This represents one of the most novel areas on the web, in which users can engage in immersive worlds. Some of these spaces closely mimic real-world notions such as community and economics.

How To Use Twitter For Marketing

How To Use Twitter For Marketing

Twitter is a great social network where people share their interests and their daily activities.

As a member of Twitter you can connect with other people having similar interests to yours and share your passion your knowledge and let them simply know what you are up to or how you are going about your day.

Twitter is one of the most popular social networks and it gathered thousands of people from all over the world. Everyone finds his own purpose for using Twitter.

While some people are using it to share their hobbies and passion with others the other ones finds Twitter very effective marketing tool. Is it a good way?
Let’s see.

If you are network marketer and have some experience with social networking you have probably noticed that it’s saturated with individuals or companies aggressively promoting their businesses. Is it a good approach for using social networks?

I don’t think so.

Social network itself means that it’s a place where you connect with like minded people to build relationship with them, not to put your business opportunity or your product in front of their faces straight away.

Twitter is no different here. You can use it to promote your business but if you do it wrong way, you will be consider rather a spammer than valuable networker. So bear this in mind if you are about to start using Twitter as a marketing tool.

So how to use Twitter to connect with people and build your business at the same time not overusing it and risking your reputation?

Let’s have a look.

Well first of all let’s take a look how Twitter is working.

When you join Twitter you will be able to create your profile by updating it with a short biography about yourself, your website address and your picture. It might be your company logo or the picture of yourself.

Once you are done you can start networking.

The main concept of Twitter is to let people what you are currently doing. It’s done in the form of short text updates that will be visible for them on their main profile home page.

However to get those people you need to find them first.

The difference between Twitter and other social networks such as: Myspace or Facebook is that here you have so called followers (those who decided to follow your updates). instead of traditional friends you have on Myspace or Facebook. That means that your updates will be visible only for these Twitter members who decided to connect with you by following your profile.

The golden rule is: the more targeted followers you have the better for you.

So how you can find the ones?

You can use advanced Twitter search engine to type in particular keyword and generate a list of people who have this keyword on their profile or updates. This way you can find targeted followers with similar interests to yours and who will be more likely to read your TWEETS (updates).

Once you have found some people you can simply start following them. This way many of them will follow you in return.
So it’s that simple – follow people yourself in order to get followed and later on you will notice that new followers will be connecting with you without any action on your part.

Once you’ve got an audience of followers you can start posting updates. These are short text messages that you can combine with html code. If you enter your full website address into text field it will be automatically transformed into clickable link. So it’s that simple.

Now the most important thing.
Do not overuse Twitter for pitching your business. Twitter is a great place to share your knowledge not to try aggressively get people to buy your product.

So for instance instead of posting : “VISIT MY WEBSITE AND START MAKING $$$ RIGHT AWAY”
you can go like this:  “Just updated my website with new HOW TO MAKE MONEY ONLINE article.”
Every time you update your blog or write your article you can make a post on Twitter about it.

However keep in mind that tweeting isn’t all about making a posts on your business. Just to build relationships with people and show them that the business isn’t the only thing you care about here, drop them a simple post of what you are doing.

It might be even simple: JUST WALKED OUT MY DOG or JUST WATCHED INTERESTING MOVIE.
This way you can get people’s trust and sympathy as a person enjoying his/her life.

So don’t aggressively promote your business the spammy way, share your knowledge and interact with people, don’t be afraid to even drop them a private message with simple HOW ARE YOU and gently answer their messages. This way you will build a huge audience of people interested in what you are doing within very short period of time.

Artist Marketing With Social Networks

Artist Marketing With Social Networks

One of the great things about social networks is the friendliness it has towards artists. Soundclick and MySpace were the first to really be artist-friendly, but FaceBook tagged along afterwards. As artists, promotion is key. To gain fans, you must make sure that your work is out there and easily accessible. Social networks made it easy for artists to put their stuff out there to the public, and fans were able to pass it on to other fans, creating a chain reaction.

The first social network you should sign up as an artist for is MySpace. Whether you are an actor, musician, comedian, fashion designer, or whatever, MySpace is the first social network to sign up for. You can create your profile, put your portfolio/demo/reel up and start befriending like-minded people. This will help you network and get your name out there.

The second social network to sign up for is twitter. Once you are on twitter, you can start following people you admire, as well as start gaining followers. On twitter you can make announcements and get to know your fans better through micro-blogging. It is important that in this day you start a twitter account.

Lastly, make a FaceBook fan page. A FaceBook fan page will help you gather all your fans and act as a portfolio of your work. Your fans can see each other, befriend each other, and make your buzz bigger. It also helps you get to know your fans better and in the long run will help you with marketing.

Frequently update all of your social network profiles and stay active in the community. Engage in discussions with your fans and get to know them, this will help you make your buzz bigger and create loyal fans.

Make sure that on each social network profile, you provide a link to your other profiles. This will help you gain friends in all of your profiles and help you make your buzz bigger.

Twitter For Business

Using Twitter for your business is a very effective method of promotions, organization and sales. The idea of Twitter is so simple, a couple sentences blasted out to numerous followers. This technique helps you make announcements and broadcast them to your employees, partners and customers. Here are 5 ways to use twitter for your business:

  1. Promote your upcoming products, reviews, promotions and any other information to your followers.
  2. Post information about projects for your employees so that everyone can be up to date with what is going on in the workplace. This is especially effective if you have many employees who work from mobile offices, as they can check the twitter page every now and then to get an update on what is going on.
  3. Auction products via twitter. Get customers to reply to you with their bids and whatnot. This will help everyone stay in the loop.
  4. Use twitter for customer service. Allow customers to tweet you with their questions, and you can reply via twitter. Eventually this can turn into a Frequently Asked Questions column.
  5. Build relationships with your clients, partners and employees. By using twitter, you are being more personal with these people and can build a good relationship.
